All things sex: Cunnilingus aka Muffing IV

With so many types of sex and how cunnilingus is the most common one of them, it is crazy how people still don’t consider cunnilingus as sex but rather foreplay. Lo and behold, cunnilingus is more than just a sexual act, but rather a form of sex itself. A lot of people get off of just cunnilingus, so it is important to know how to properly and safely do cunnilingus.

Vaginal discharges are a normal part of the vagina and play certain critical roles. The most important roles are to maintain the pH of the vagina at its health level, to keep the vagina moist and lubricated and to prevent any infections as a part of your body’s biochemical barriers. These discharges will vary from what time of the month it is and how close your period is. Their normal odour is often a bit tangy, and so is the taste.

I always advise people to get cleaned up first before partaking in cunnilingus. As a person you must understand that your vagina isn’t meant to smell like peaches and cream. It has its natural smells and flavour, and most of the vagina care aromatics that we use often destabilise our pH and could cause long standing issues for you in the future like UTI (Urinary tract infections), itching and cancer. So, if there’s no way for you to get cleaned up by taking a shower or a bath, then use unscented baby wipes or clean water wipes. A pack usually goes from around R15-R20.

After this you are ready to go!

Tongue exercises are important. Stretching. Darting. Circles. Figure 8/ infinity sign. Butterfly. Stretching is basic. Stretching your tongue out to full length towards your chin and raising it from your chin to your nose. Darting is basically moving your tongue out without the complete stretch (weirdly what most people do with cunnilingus). Circles is stretching out like in stretching but the trick is to move it from your chin to the direction of your right ear, up to the nose and down the direction of your left ear. Depends on whether you're comfortable with starting with left or right. Either way, the point is to make a 360° with your tongue, completely stretched or not. Butterfly is basically rolling your tongue whilst stretching it out (note: not everyone can roll their tongue). With these stretches mastered, you’re well on your way to happy eating.

The point is to use the skills you gain from these tongue stretches to help you with the stimulation of your partner’s clitoris and vulva. Definitely go the clitoris because that’s where the stimulation comes from, but do not ignore the labia and the thighs. All these places are sensitive and make for good sexual stimulation. Happy eating!
